Fünf norddeutsche Länder – ein maritimes Cluster:

Das Maritime Cluster Norddeutschland (MCN) wurde 2011 gegründet. Ziel ist es, die Zusammenarbeit in der norddeutschen maritimen Branche zu stärken und zu fördern. Zunächst arbeiteten die Länder Hamburg, Niedersachsen und Schleswig-Holstein in dem länderübergreifenden Cluster zusammen. Seit September 2014 sind auch Bremen und Mecklenburg-Vorpommern mit von der Partie.

Das Maritime Cluster Norddeutschland verschafft der Maritimen Wirtschaft eine Stimme. Das Cluster organisiert eine Bündelung der weitgefächerten Kompetenzen der Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft und Politik. Außerdem schafft es Plattformen für einen Dialog der Akteure untereinander und fördert so Schnittstellen aktiv zu anderen Branchen. Gemeinsam , innovativ, technologieorientiert und mit Blick nach vorn.
